FMCSA was not even fooling when they announced they
would be shutting down unfit carriers or carriers who refused to pay their
fines. The list of Operational Out-of-Service Orders (OOSO) is getting longer by
the minute. Additionally, FMCSA is now posting the list on the Internet for all
to see. Over the years FMCSA (and its predecessors)
have fought the same battles with the same carriers over and over again. Now
with their expanded authority they have just gotten a giant stick to enforce
their authority. Clean-up, pay-up or we'll close your doors. If
you'd like to check out who's on the list you can click on this Operational
Out-of-Service Orders List. We hope your company isn't on the list.
If you are, you should contact a professional service such as SafeTrac Solutions
to help you get out of this mess. Shutdowns and fines are extremely costly.
Professional services to keep you going straight are truly a bargain. Some
folks facing an Operational Out-of-Service Order might think they can dodge
scales and run in spite of the order. First of all that's no way to run a
business. And besides, sooner or later you'll get caught... How does prison
sound.....................
