Do I have to sign anything?
Yes.... You will have to complete an Appointment of Agent agreement. This appoints SafeTrac Solutions as your legal agent for background information purposes, only. Because of various federal and state privacy laws this is needed in order to obtain and protect the information we gather. The appointment of agent does not lock you into using SafeTrac Solutions' background services exclusively.....

How much do the services cost?
The services are based on a flat fee per report, with the exception of the DOT Employment Background Record which is based on a fee per driver. 

How often am I billed?
SafeTrac Solutions will bill you once a month for all of the background services completed in the previous month. Any background services in progress will not be billed until they are completed.....

What supplies will SafeTrac Solutions provide?
Once we get you setup as a background services client, we will provide you with:

• Release & Authorization Forms. Have your employee/applicant sign, authorizing you and SafeTrac Solutions to conduct an appropriate background investigation. Additionally, they release you from any liability that may occur while conducting the investigation.

• Summary of FCRA Rights.  We supply you with summaries of the individual rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Employees/applicants must be informed of their rights before executing a release & authorization.

• Screening Request Form. Simply fill out a Screening Request form for each employee you want background services completed on. Check the individual services you want, fax it to us.... and we'll do the rest....

How long Does it Take to Get Results?
Usually*, within 24 hours you'll have a complete, readable and understandable report in your hand. We can fax , mail or both fax and mail them to you....

Additionally, if we run into a problem record on an individual, we call and notify you immediately.

* The vast majority of reports are available within 24 hours. Criminal Records in some states take longer and state computers occasionally go down. This can sometimes increase the time it takes to obtain reports.
